
Nancy serves as the Fine Arts Accompanist at East Aurora High School. In this position, she accompanies all of the High School choral groups, the main stage musical and serves as club sponsor of Tri-M National Music Honor Society.
Nancy has several years of accompanying, performing and music directing experience. Currently, she is the accompanist for the One Voice Outreach Choir, a community based high school group which meets weekly and performs monthly. She also serves as music director and directs the praise team at Word of Life Lutheran Church in Naperville. She teaches private piano lessons to over 20 students from her home studio in Aurora
Nancy serves as a competition and recital accompanist for area high schools, middle schools and private studios. She has music directed and accompanied many school and community musicals including “Once on This Island”, “Cabaret”, “Gypsy”, “Into the Woods”, “Street Scenes”, “A Little Night Music”, “West Side Story”, “Once Upon a Mattress” and “Meet Me in St. Louis”. In the past, she has taught music classes at Walther Lutheran High School, St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Waubonsee Community College and Grace Lutheran School, River Forest. She also serves as the substitute accompanist for the Elgin Masterwork Chorale and played for their production of “Carmina Burana.” at Elgin Community College. As an undergraduate student, Nancy was a concerto finalist at Illinois Wesleyan University where she has a BA in Music. She completed her Masters in Piano Performance at Northwestern University in Evanston.
