Soundtrap music production project

This project provides you with an opportunity to create a track using loops, similarly to what producers, DJ's, and electronic music artists use. Using the online-based program, SoundTrap, you will create your own track using the pre-made loops available on their website. Follow the steps below to complete the project. You MUST complete the criteria below. If you need help, please email Mr. Kulick your questions!

  1. Start by clicking the link to take you to the SoundTrap website.

2. Click Join as a Student

3. Signup for an account using Use an Email option.

4. Use your district email to sign up for the service. 
​Only if your email doesn't work should you use your private email.

5. Once you log in, click the purple “enter studio” button at the left of the page.

6. Click “Music” option.

7. Go to the right side of the page and click the purple “eighth-note pair” button.
  • This will bring up the loops library. This is where you will get your material to create your song. 
8. Find loops you like and double tap to import them into your song.

Requirements:

Song Requirements:
  • Must be at least 3:00 in length.
  • Must have at least 5 different tracks.
  • You song needs to be in at least 2 sections. An A melody and a B Melody.
  • Must SHARE your song with Joe Kulick

How to Submit Your Project:

  1. Once you’re completed, save your arrangement, then click the orange button at the top right that says “share.”
  2. Click Joe Kulick to share the song with me.
