E-Learning Projects |
Students will have the opportunity to choose which projects they would like to do. Each student will be responsible for turning in 3 projects total over the month of April.

Project 1 – Selected by Tuesday, April 14th – Due by Monday, April 20th
Project 2 – Selected by Tuesday, April 21st – Due by Monday, April 27th

This website has lots of free lessons and games on all kinds of music subjects; note naming, key signature practice, scale building, chord building...everything! If you've been struggling with our daily journals lately, this is the help you need. |
Perfect Ear
This is a phone app that has all kinds of music theory games and exercises similar to musictheory.net but in app form. |
Smart Music
Smart Music is a website and iPad app (no phone app yet) that lets you play concert music into the microphone and it will tell you if you're playing the right notes and rhythms. You can search for music we're playing in class, listen to recordings of the full band or of just your part, and play along for automatic feedback! It requires a subscription but has a free trial, give it a shot! |
Sight Reading Factory
This site will generate various sight-reading activities that you can personalize and change. You can make it as difficult or as easy as you would like. There is sight reading on the audition. Use this site to get some practice. |
MuseScore
MuseScore has two major functions: 1) It is a completely free program that allows you to compose music. It has a play back feature that will let you hear what you wrote with the instrument sounds that you wrote it with. Some of the sounds aren't great but you will get the idea. 2) There are 1,000's of pieces composed with MuseScore that are free for you to view and play at home. Many people composing popular songs of the day, arrangements of older music with different instruments, and more. Download a popular song for clarinet and make a video of you playing all the parts. |
